WHAT IT IS
Hotel Luna Mystica is a vintage trailer hotel and starlight campground in the vast Mesa of Taos, one of the most mystical locations on the planet. Come camp under the famous New Mexico starry sky next to our legendary mountain and feel the
"pull" of Taos. Each trailer is equipped with its own deck, bathroom, comfortable bed, and kitchen facilities. Each is unique as we've retained its vintage soul while applying modern amenities. Tent sites are also available as well
as primitive RV spaces without hook-ups. Hotel Luna Mystica - 8 miles from the heart of Taos, 12 feet across a dirt road from the Taos Mesa Brewery, and 4.2 light years from our nearest stellar neighbor, Alpha Centauri. Somehow everything
seems closer at the Mystica.
WHO WE ARE
Escape the grind … and who will you find?
At the end of the day, come join the circle around the fire. There are many voices at the Hotel Luna Mystica. If you listen, you can hear them:
Someone speaks of far-off places, Last summer I was at the Alhambra in Moorish Spain. A voice answers, Ah yes, Spain – volleyball on the beaches of Barcelona. A third adds, Well, yeah, and parasailing in the Pyrenees that time I ran off the
cliff. A moment of silence, then, I should’a been with you, bro. I used to be a stuntman. Let me tell you about the road to Marrakech. OMG, the smells, the colors, the flavors. One after another the stories are told: Remember the fabrics
in Laos? … Have you ever tried polar dipping in Iceland? … What I remember is a jail cell in Peru after I stole the flag … Me? A story of love in the Swiss Alps … Of loneliness in Asia. Did I tell you how I almost lost my soul with my
last job and how I grabbed it back? … Perhaps you do not know of the lake my people revere: Blue Lake, right here, above this Mesa … Here’s one my father told me before he died … Hey, someone toss another log on the fire … Manby Hot Springs
tomorrow? Anyone? … I’m in.

For Peace of Mind:
We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our property and understand that this is more important now than ever. To ensure everyone’s safety, we have taken rigorous cleaning measures that so we can continue to offer a comfortable and safe environment for our guests to enjoy.
Here’s what we’re doing to bring you some peace of mind for your upcoming visit.
We have increased our sanitation procedures throughout the hotel. Using the products recommended by the CDC, all surfaces including doorknobs, countertops and kitchen appliances are sanitized twice before a guest checks into their room.
We understand that some might not feel comfortable interacting with another person during these times. If you wish to minimize your human to human contact, please give us a call and we will send you the instructions on how to access your trailer independently.
We are nothing without our team. To ensure that our staff is healthy and safe, we’re encouraging precautionary health measures such as staying home when sick and frequent hand washing and wearing protective masks and gloves.
We are closely monitoring the announcements being released by our local officials and ensuring that we follow the safety guidelines that have been provided to us. We continue to offer a safe place for our guests while staying within the recommended occupancy limits as requested in New Mexico’s Shelter in Place order. Should you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact our office, 575-613-1411.
UPDATE: The Governor of the State of New Mexico has updated the previous voluntary order that out of state travelers are encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in attempt to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 to mandatory. This is order is now official for travel through July 31st. We want to help protect our community and keep it safe, so we ask that you follow the orders of our Governor. Hotel Luna Mystica is ideal for travelers during Covid given as all our trailers come with private kitchens and we have natural separation and distancing between trailers. If you are traveling from out of state, then buy your groceries before arrival and once you check into HLM stay here until your check-out and then leave the State if you have not already been here for 14 days minimum. We hope to see you soon and hope that you will help us in following the orders. Together we can bring the virus under control and restore a more normal way of life for all of us, and please wear your facemask!"
